Before designing and patenting a product, Sujene spent over a decade working for the biggest luxury fashion brands in the world. If there is anyone we would want to learn from it’s her!

LA: What is one interesting thing that people may not know about your career?
S: Prior to FEND, I spent the first 17 years of my career working as a buyer for luxury fashion companies.
LA: During your professional journey, what is one mistake you made that you learned the most from?
S: One of the biggest lessons for me early on was to cultivate and maintain relationships. This has helped me tremendously throughout my career.
LA: What are you most proud of at this moment?
S: I am most proud of FEND and where we are today. We have impacted so many people’s lives and also continue to support our mission to preserve our environment.
LA: One thing you wish people would stop doing in business?
S: I don’t necessarily have feedback on what I wish businesses would stop doing, however, I always love to see businesses supporting other businesses (especially being a small business).
LA: Your go-to beverage after a long week (specifics please!)
S: A nice glass of red wine always does the trick!
