What is one interesting thing people might not know about your profession?
LA: That my entire career as a celebrity fashion stylist, TV personality and content creator has been full of twists and turns, highs and lows and A LOT of “No’s”. Someone asked me the other day, “How did you build a successful brand so fast?” I was like, “Whattttt????” My current brand success is a result of the past 19 years of my hustle and hardwork in the fashion industry.
What is one mistake you made in your career that you learned the most from?
LA: Being so laser focused on making my celebrity clients happy and catering to all their requests without any thought of looking into company policies on what was allowed. This bit me in the ass because I realized fast when shit goes down there is rarely any loyalty in business. Moral of the story- follow the rules.

As a Founder of your own lifestyle brand, what is one bit of advice you can share with our readers if they want to pursue this particular career?
LA: Just go for it! As they say, fear is temporary, regret is forever! Only surround yourself with people who support your dream because you’re going to need those pep talks along the way to keep you going when it gets tough or scary.
What are you most proud of at this moment?
LA: I am most proud of the fact that I have powered through so much adversity in my career and invented a product and launched my own brand with 100% of my own money. I still can’t believe I did that, haha!
Your go-to beverage after a long week (specifics please!)?
LA: Most of the time my glass is filled with bubbles. Usually MUMM Rose. If I’m feeling frisky, a little Clase Azul tequila.
