"How Did They Do It? With Manifestation Queen & Author, Jen Mazer!

If there's one thing I wholeheartedly believe in it's manifesting! Has everything I've put out into the universe materialized? Not everything. But many things have and that's good enough odds for me to keep doing it and I'm fascinated by the potential of it all.

That's why I was THRILLED when Author and Manifestation Expert, Jen Mazer let us spotlight her unconventional career path while also dropping a few takeaway tips for us as well. The truth is, manifesting is not all crystals and burning sage as some might think. Let's let Jen tell us what it's all about....

LA: What is one interesting thing that people may not know about your career?

J: Everything that I’ve created is a result of people asking me to do it. My friends actually gave me the nickname “Queen of Manifestation” because I was the one in our group that always had another outrageous story of something I manifested each time we got together. I love the idea of marrying what you love with what people are always coming to you for. My favorite Rumi quote is, “Let the beauty of what you love be what you do.”

LA: During your professional journey, what is one mistake you made that you learned the most from?

J: I made the mistake of trying to help everyone, even if they couldn’t afford working with me. I realized pretty quickly that the clients who paid my full rates got better results. The ones who I was trying to help at a discounted rate didn’t respect my time, missed appointments, and didn’t actually do the necessary work in order to manifest their dreams. I’m grateful for that lesson because I realized that my dream clients are the ones who already know they want to work with me and see the value in investing in themselves and their transformations. Now I feel like all of my clients are friends who I enjoy spending time with!

LA: What are you most proud of at this moment?

J: I am most proud of being a great mom to my 2 kids, both born at home on the same exact day 9 years apart! I love that I’ve been able to coach and teach about manifestation, all while being present with them and my love, Amayo.

LA: One thing you wish people would stop doing in business?

J: I wish people would stop trying to do too much themselves and instead, hire before you’re ready to expand. That’s manifesting! Base your next business move on where you ultimately want to go. Hire your next employee because you expect more business to come in to support that position. My best CEO clients are the ones that dream big and hire the right people to support their missions.

LA: Your go-to beverage after a long week (specifics please!)

J: My favorite treat is a GT’s Watermelon Kombucha on ice, sipped from a wine glass. I’m still breastfeeding, so I don’t drink that much wine these days. And that feels like such a treat to me!
